Robson Dias

Director, editor and master in documentary directing from Aix-Marseille Université, in France. Graduated in Cinema (PUC-Rio), he made his debut with the award-winning short film "Pra Inglês Ver" (Gramado Festival). In 2015, he directed the second unit of the series Surfe na África Oeste (Canal OFF) and worked as a screenwriter and editor for the feature film Kabadio, before moving to Europe. He specialized in cinema at the CLCF École de Cinéma, in Paris, and has worked for ten years between France, Germany and Italy as a director and film teacher. He is currently directing the feature documentary "Eu Ouvi o Chamado: O Retorno dos Mantos Tupinambá", a co-production between Selvatica Filmes and its own production company, Buzios Films. The project was selected for Cannes Docs 2025, the year in which Brazil is the honorary country at the Cannes Festival. He participated in the first class of the Warner Bros.Discovery, acceleration program where he directed "Favela Turística", available on the MAX and on the TLC, Space and TNT channels. He maintains an active presence on the international circuit, having been at EFM, Cannes Docs, and recently as a speaker at Rio2C, the largest creativity meeting in Latin America.
