Marilia Nogueira

Screenwriter and Director, Marília Nogueira is the creator of the Cabíria Prêmio de Roteiro and director of the Cabíria Festival Audiovisual, initiatives aimed for the protagonism of women on screens and behind the cameras. With extensive experience in the audiovisual sector, she has been developing branded content scripts for major brands such as Discovery Channel, Google, Coca-Cola and FIFA for almost a decade. She was the screenwriter of the animated series "Beliche Voador" (Plotkids), collaborator in the screenplay of the feature "A memória que me contam" (2012), by Lucia Murat, and co-writer of the music video "O Mundo é Nosso", by MC Duduzinho (Warner). As assistant director, she worked on different projects, such as the GNT reality show "Reforma de Casais" (2018), and the features films "Praça Paris" (2017) and "No Coração do Mundo" (2019). Graduated in cinema, with a specialization in Literature and Philosophy from PUC-Rio, Marília wrote and directed 3 short films. The most recent, "Angela" (2019), toured more than 30 festivals in Brazil and abroad, having received, among other awards, the Candango for Best Actress for Teuda Bara, at the 52nd Festival in Brasília.
