Clara Meirelles

Screenwriter, author and PhD student at the School of Communication at UFRJ. She is currently head of scriptwriting for a Globoplay series. She has written the fiction series Impuros (Starplus - 2020), O Jogo que Mudou a História (Globoplay - 2024), Cidade de Deus (HBO - upcoming), Vítimas Digitais (GNT - 2019), A Divisão (Globoplay - 2019), Nós (Canal Brasil - 2020), Anjo Loiro com Sangue no Cabelo (Duas Mariola - Canal Brasil - 2021) and Copa Hotel (Pródigo Filmes - 2013), among others. Along with other screenwriters, she was nominated for an International Emmy Kids for Tem Criança na Cozinha (Gloob) and received the ABRA Award for Best Children's and Youth Screenplay for the series A Magia de Aruna (Disney+).
